Trion Worlds today released the latest update for the increasingly popular sandbox inspired MMORPG ArcheAge, titled Devouring Depths, bringing with it a wealth of new content to the game including the massive Leviathan. Elements of the Devouring Depths that’s exciting most of the fans is the introduction of this huge new beast that arrives as a new daily event that will see dozens of players combine forces to launch giant crossbow bolts as the deadly beast.
The event is already underway and is scheduled to run through until July 7th with potential rewards scaling up towards 2 Legendary Leviathan items while Patrons can earn additional rewards with another daily event giving Three Loyalty Tokens every hour for logged in play.
Another exciting opportunity will present itself to those skilled enough to defeat the legendary Leviathan as the huge corpse will remain for a limited time, offering players the chance to tow its giant body to Diamond Shore before hoisting it on the great fishing crane at the Ayanad Library.
There’s always a lot of controversy from players as to whether or not real life holidays should be tied to in-game holidays. Some people adore them and look forward to the neat events that come around once a year based on their favourite real life holidays, and others prefer in-game worlds to have holidays that are based on the worlds themselves, and have nothing to do with the outside. I can see the pros and cons of each side, but personally, I love feeling festive and if my game of choice can help with that through holiday events that are tied to real life holidays, then of course I’m going to be all over that.
That’s how I found myself taking airships and transforming into a Spriggan in order to figure out some prophetic vision (which had quite the plot twist at the end). One of my favourite parts was that I was given earrings (which was an upgrade) and the graphic is little easter eggs. One thing I’ve always loved about FFXIV is that items like rings, necklaces, and bracelets actually show up in game. Too many other games I’ve played always neglect having accessories show up. They danced about as my character moved, and they just make me happy.
The rest of my game play session was spent leveling up my second class (I’m a 17 conj and now a level 11 arcanist, going white mage) along with a handful of crafting. I’ve selected weaver, alchemist, and goldsmith as my main crafting focuses, but I’ve also taken culinarian, miner, botanist, and fisher in order to supplement those crafts and just because why not. I’ve been working on getting everything to 10, and having an absolute blast with it. Fishing is oddly addicting (though I am running out of space for everything) and crafting in general is quite relaxing so long as you have all of the components readily available. It can be quite time consuming, but after games like Wurm Online and Vanguard ‘grind’ is something that rarely affects me. I just put on a TV show and do my thing.
I did also get a weird message from someone who claimed they were quitting and who wanted to give me coin, but they never did and I of course encouraged that they should stay instead. It was just a random message as I flew by, they asked me if I was new (probably because I wasn’t wearing clothes, I had just swapped into my arcanist build and had yet to receive anything besides the book at my side). Either way, since most of the tells I get are spam messages, it was a welcome reprieve. You can find me on Cactuar as Velours Reveur. Speaking of, I love being able to look up my character and view all of her details, hehe.Read More
Blizzard rolled out patch 1.08 to Diablo 3’s American servers yesterday and, along with it, a very substantial bug. The patch increased the stack size for in-game gold in the auction house from 1 million to 10 million, effectively making gold ten times cheaper. Players then discovered a serious bug: Canceling a gold auction refunded them double the amount listed. Streams of the bug in action soon spread the word quickly. Thanks to the higher stack size, players were reportedly duplicating trillions in gold. Some were buying up high-value items in the auction house, thus driving up prices and massively inflating the in-game economy.
Blizzard became aware of the issue last night and shut down the auction house. As of midnight Pacific, the company had created a fix for the problem, but it still hasn’t been implemented. The studio has decided not to rollback the update, and will instead “make corrections” to individual accounts. Writing on the Diablo 3 forums, community manager Lylirra stated, “We feel that this is the best course of action given the nature of the dupe, how relatively few players used it, and the fact that its effects were fairly limited within the region.”
We’ve contacted Blizzard regarding the current status of the problem.Read More
“I still can remember the classic rs, it reached numerous players playing available together day”;”We are still here because my company is expecting what’s promising.OLD RS has returned.”
For the sharing of information, you possibly can be aware that some people usually do not accept such update.buy runescape gold
“All people have a fairly different vision of “old rs”. It’s not whatsoever about to revisit to allow you to happy, so don’t hold your breath. Besides, I am not sure what you mean- what version of RS may possibly return that could re-populate minigames? The reason sufferers do not play them anymore is absolutely since there is no incentive. PC isn’t good XP and void is pointless. FoG does not have any worthwhile rewards. SC’s rewards are extremely specific as you are should need bonus XP in specific skills, as well as the majority people play that in non-combat FCs.Causing all of that may be alongside the point. Specialists the reason you personally preferred the sooner combat system on the brand new one, plus your response was .”the majority of the minigames are dead”. That had been even if it’s just slightly related. Does one be aware the achievements you want?. “said by who hold an alternate standpoint.
This is often another made-up number including a subjective opinion stated as fact. Can you discover why you aren’t going to coming off as intelligent? I really like combat more(a) the earlier system, similar to tons of many people apparently. Anything you mean is that you simply PERSONALLY don’t enjoy it, for reasons I’d personally absolutely want to hear.
Yes, you read the title right. With a future patch, that’s planned somewhere after the launch of 6.2 that’s currently on the PTR, we will be able to invade the Draenor skies with our dust-collecting flying mounts.
There were hundreds of topics from people demanding this feature to become available in Draenor, and also a few official announcements as a reply to that feedback that always told us that there is no plan yet for enabling flying in Draenor yet.
Now, with the latest Dev Watercooler article, Blizzard announced that we will be able to use our flying mounts once more. First of all you should read the complete article and the reason behind this decision, but if you like to know how to fly in Draenor and how to prepare to be ready for this when the time comes, then please read below.
So, to enable flying in Warlords of Draenor you should complete a meta achievement called: Draenor Pathfinder. This achievement will include:
Explore Draenor – This one if pretty simple, you just have to uncover the entire Draenor map. This achievement includes:
Explore Frostfire Ridge
Explore Shadowmoon Valley
Explore Spires of Arak
Grand Treasure Hunter – This achievement asks for 200 treasures, but you’ll need only half of that. If you need help with those treasures I recommend you to take a look at the HandyNotes addon.
Loremaster of Draenor – This is a big step for a lot of people. You’ll have to complete the quests in all the areas of Draenor. It will take time, but is not impossible, especially with today’s gear.
Securing Draenor – is needed as well, but you can spend some Garrison Resources to buy the Scouting Missives that allow you to complete any of those missing quests.
The last step is to hit Revered with three of the Tanaan Jungle new factions. If you need help with this remember that I’ll update the Reputation Calculator when 6.2 goes live.
The interesting part is that after you’ll complete this mighty meta achievement, the Draenor Pathfinder, all your 90+ characters will have the Draenor Flying ability unlocked.
For those who love mounts and want to keep collecting them, you should know that the same meta achievement will reward us with a new mount: a Soaring Skyterror.
I know that when it comes to flying in Draenor everyone has its own opinion and there are pros and cons about it, that’s why I’d like to know how do you feel about this. Personally, I love it. Maybe this way I’ll step out of the Garrison more.Read More
